Whenever power is unchecked and unaccountable it almost inevitably leads to mistakes and abuses. In the absence of rigorous accountability, incompetence flourishes. Dishonesty is encouraged and rewarded.

I just wish he didn't sound so whiny when he was saying it.
Is that what our side needs, maybe? Speech coaches? Someone who could've told Al Gore and John Edwards how to sound less whiny and more determined? Someone to tell John Kerry that he should talk more like the feisty young Senator he once was and less like a brain-eating zombie?
Eh. Just listen to the chuckling, guffawing verbal stumblebum who's in office now. I guess it's not the delivery.
