It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone.

Hi, dee. Sorry bout the Series. Tomorrow - turn off the TV, feed the cat, & get out of the house - go for a walk - the weather will be absolutely beautiful - take a deep breath, life is good. Spring training is only a few (okay, more than a few) weeks away.
